In a sense this is the beginning of new revolution in the field of IT industry, that is capable to change the business in all sectors of human life. With the transition towards the cloud practically everything becomes a service. It is not only the case of software and applications, but also IT infrastructure (virtualization of the servers, GRID calculations, virtualizations of the systems for storage, new regulations for licensing of the infrastructure used and software products, relations between providers and clients), even the very business because new channels of selling of goods and services appear. These revolution technologies fitted shortly one to another: virtualization with the cloud computing, cloud – with mobile services, mobile connection – with social networks, and social networks – with huge data bases, exceptional user’s activity and analyses of various information in real time. The attention in the monograph is focused on three main areas: Research on the nature and contemporary dimensions of Web 2.0, as the real possibilities for application in the business of the companies on the ground of the conception Enterprise 2.0 and proposing of approach to development of a strategy for transition towards Enterprise 2.0 for the needs of the enterprise; scientific and practical analysis of the status and main problems related to the cloud computing and the new generation of corporate business information systems and development of a specific methodology for migration towards cloud services in several steps; research and analysis of the usage of contemporary ICT in Bulgarian small and middle size business and justification of need of accelerated introduction of new technological IT solutions.
