An interdisciplinary approach has been applied to this research, thus making it possible to study the condition of climate in parallel with the dynamics of the greenhouse gas emissions in agriculture. The main thesis, which is defended in the study, is that in recent years, the climate of Bulgaria has been characterized by anomalies (not changes), while the link between the driving force of the Bulgarian agriculture and the harmful emissions in the sector has been broken, i.e., over the period under survey, there has been no link between the realization of agricultural activities and greenhouse gas emissions as a result of these activities. This research paper of the climate condition and trends in Bulgaria and the greenhouse gas emissions in the sector of agriculture has been structured in the following order: first place is given to the impact of the greenhouse effect on climate and economy; in the second part, the methodological guidelines have been synthesized, and the third part represents a conducted empirical study showing data on the climate elements in Bulgaria and the harmful emissions in the agricultural sector.
