PROMOTING THE PARTICIPATION OF SMEs IN DUAL TRAINING IN THE CONTEXT OF REGIONAL DISPARITIES IN BULGARIA
Summary:
The aim of the paper is to make recommendations for the development of the dual system in Bulgaria in terms of increasing the participation of SMEs and taking into account the regional specificities of the educational structure of the population and youth unemployment. Financial incentives, a large-scale information campaign and visibility of participating enterprises are some of the important factors to encourage SMEs to become partners in the dual system. In order to ensure a wider participation of enter¬prises, it is important to gradually increase financial incentives (through support in the form of grants, tax relief, etc.). The existing differences between regions in Bulgaria suggest that a more substantial incentive for SMEs to become partners in dual training could be achieved by applying a regional criterion. When planning measures for the development of the dual training system in Bulgaria, efforts should be made to cover more persons at risk of dropping out of the education system and persons who will not enter higher education.

Summary:
Today the business environment is characterized by the globalization of markets, rapid technical developments, the reduction of the life of products and activities, the benefits acquired traditionally are no longer assets on which companies can count for develop.
Companies must look for new options to diversify their offerings and markets, which contributes to their growth and development and to finding relevant answers to the question of survival that may threaten its continuity. Our paper aims to clarify the determinants of the success of some companies, especially SMEs, by focusing on the links between innovation and the organizational performance of SMEs. So, the purpose of this paper is to explore and better understanding the effects of organizational innovations, process innovations, product innovations, and marketing innovations on the organizational performance of Moroccan SMEs, based on an empirical study covering 3 SMEs operating in three different sectors.

Summary:
Background: This study examines the management of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in crisis conditions, with a focus on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. It aims to identify strategies and best practices for enhancing SME resilience and sustainability.
Methods: The research adopts a comprehensive literature review approach, analyzing previous studies and reports on SME management during crises. It also incorporates case studies and empirical data to provide practical insights.
Results: The analysis reveals that SMEs face unique challenges during crises, such as disrupted supply chains, reduced consumer demand, and financial constraints. However, innovative solutions, collaboration among stake-holders, and supportive government policies have played a crucial role in enabling SMEs to adapt and recover.
Conclusions: Based on the findings, it is evident that effective manage-ment practices, including adaptation, digital transformation, financial manage-ment, and crisis planning, are vital for SME survival and growth in crisis conditions. Collaboration and networking among SMEs, along with supportive government policies, contribute to collective recovery and sustainability. The study underscores the importance of ongoing research and development in SME crisis management, with a focus on resilience-building strategies, sustainable business models, and addressing the psychological well-being of SME stakeholders.
